Rating by category:
The hotel was very close to the old part of St. Augustine. Friendly staff.
The bathroom was not really clean and the toilet was 'broken' = everytime we flushed we had to fix it :-) There is also a railroad behind the hotel
Amazing staff for this type of lodging. Manager /owner obviously loved people
The bed was less than desirable. Dated facility.
The executive suite was very roomy and the beds were very comfortable.
I think that any employee of the Quality Inn needs to wear some sort of uniform, it is more professional. My biggest complaint was that our suite was not as clean as it could have been. As soon as I walked in the room, I noticed sand on the floor. I took a paper towel and wiped it up off the tile and the paper towel was black. It was obvious that the floors needed mopped and the carpet needed replaced because our socks were black from walking on it. The room was wonderful as far as size goes and it could be spectactular if they painted the walls with some color and gave it a good cleaning!
Hotel staff funny and professional
Strange smell in the room (Not stinky, but strange)
Continental breakfast was awesome. The hotel was located in a safe environment. The maids were very nice to the guests.
The bed sheets had a slight stench of vomit. There were small bugs in the bathroom.
Location is a 5 minute drive to historic district, breakfast included in room charge was adequate (waffles, eggs, bagels, etc), coffee, orange juice, apple juice.
Despite copy of Booked.net reservation in hand showing correct arrival day,we were told by hotel desk that the date sent to hotel was the previous day and we had been charged as a "no show". After some discussion, hotel "provided no charge compensation" and placed us in rooms against a rail road track. Room maintenance poor (shower faucet fell off), sink faucets corroded, room odor a mix of rug and humidity.
We visited all the places we did not get to visit on our last trip. We went to the fort, winery, and fountain of youth. Also strolled St. George street.
Overpriced, noisy because of train track just behind it, filthy and old.
Cleanliness and air conditioning units that are too old and don't work properly
It was very close to downtown St. Augustine, and had a nice, big pool, as well as ample common room space where I could play board games with my kids during the day.
It was a little hard to walk around the area, because it's located on a busy 4-lane road.
The rooms had an overbearing mildew smell so much so my sister had to relocate two times.
everything was good and the breakfast was great
It is near the historic center of the town
The location of our room, in front of the street
The Quality Inn offered everything I needed to be comfortable, and the location is very convienent to all the different sites that the city had to offerc such as a great coffee shop directly across the strreet, restaurants, tourist sitesof the Historic District directly around the corner. Great water pressure in shower, nice refrig, and coffee makers. For the money the place cant be beat.
Minor maintainence issues, such as the toilet seat was broke, and the In-room Safe did not function.
Very large, ample room, w/ fridge, microwave, large vanity area, 2 TV sets, good air conditioning, breakfast included. Good location. Gentleman making waffles helped speed up long process and was very helpful and kind.
Breakfast area too crowded, too slow.
